Russia intensifies massive bombing of Dnipro and Kharkiv in Ukraine
The Ukrainian cities of Dnipro and Kharkiv were targeted by intense Russian bombing, leaving multiple casualties and severe damage to civilian infrastructure.
In one of the most intense offensives in recent weeks, Russian forces carried out massive bombings of the cities of Dnipro and Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine. According to Ukrainian authorities, the attacks have caused numerous casualties and destruction in residential areas and key infrastructure.
Reports indicate that multiple missiles and drones were launched overnight, hitting civilian buildings, hospitals, and power grids. Emergency teams are working to rescue the injured and contain the fires caused by the explosions.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attacks, calling them a "new brutal escalation" and reiterated his call for the international community to increase military aid to Ukraine.
From Moscow, the Kremlin has not issued any statements regarding the attacks, although Russian sources indicate that the offensive targeted strategic military infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the international community is following the escalation of the conflict with concern, at a time when peace negotiations appear to be at an impasse and the war in Ukraine is entering an even more critical phase.
