Shakira unleashed a stir at MetLife Stadium by inviting reggaeton artist Ozuna as a surprise guest during her concert. The audience rocked out to “Monotonia” live for the first time together.
MetLife Stadium witnessed one of the most exciting moments of Shakira's US tour. In the midst of her spectacular concert, the Colombian superstar surprised the more than 60,000 attendees by inviting Ozuna on stage, sparking a massive ovation.
The duo performed “Monotonía” together for the first time live, their 2022 hit, which addresses heartbreak with Latin rhythms and immersive melodies. The chemistry between the two artists was palpable, and the stadium sang along from beginning to end.
“New Jersey, this is for you! With you, my dear Ozuna,” Shakira exclaimed before hugging the Puerto Rican reggaeton artist.
The show continued with pure energy.
In addition to this stellar moment, Shakira offered a show lasting more than two hours with a selection of her greatest hits, from “La Tortura” to “Music Sessions #53,” not to mention her new songs from the album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.
Ozuna, for his part, took advantage of the invitation to thank the audience and Shakira for “an unforgettable night.”
