Iran launches a new missile attack against Israel just 10 minutes after Trump announced a loud fire two weeks ago, according to the FDI
It will launch a new oiled ballistic missile against Israel just 10 minutes after President Donald Trump announced a two-week fire between both countries. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the attack and activated sirens throughout the country. The immediate violation of Trump's announcement generates strong indignation in Washington and Tel Aviv, and raises doubts about the viability of any peace agreement in the shortest plazo.
- A new oiled ballistic missile will be launched against Israel just 10 minutes after President Donald Trump announced a loud fire two weeks between both countries, as confirmed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Anti-aircraft sirens sounded throughout Israel, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and the south of the country. The FDI immediately activated air defense systems, including Iron Dome, David’s Sling and Arrow, to intercept the projectiles. Until now, no direct impacts on victims have been reported, but the attack has generated great outrage in Washington and Tel Aviv.
- Trump had announced the truce just minutes ago in a statement from Casa Blanca, stating that both Iran and Israel had accepted a break of two weeks to allow negotiations. "This is an opportunity for peace. I hope both parties respect it", says Trump. The Iranian response was immediate. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) claimed the attack as “a legitimate response to Zionist aggression” and stated that “no unilateral announcement from Washington will stop our resistance”.
- Prime Israeli minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the attack “a blatant betrayal” and “a slap to Trump and the international community”. "I will not want peace. I will only understand the strength", declared Netanyahu. In Washington, government officials Trump expressed "deep disappointment" and "anger" at the immediate violation of the announcement. “This demonstrates that Iran is not a rational actor who can negotiate with good faith”, said a senior US official. The international community reacted with alarm. NATO, the European Union and several Arab countries condemned the attack and requested containment. However, analysts warn that this new episode is practically impossible to attempt a high fire at short notice.
- The FDI continues on maximum alert and is warned that it will respond with force if the attacks persist. So far, an immediate military response from Israel has not been confirmed.
