Khamenei Rejects Negotiations Under US Pressure

Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said Tehran will not accept negotiations under pressure from an "oppressor country," referring to the United States. The statement comes a day after former President Donald Trump said he had sent a letter to the Iranian government proposing new talks on a possible nuclear deal.

Khamenei stressed that Iran will not bow to external pressure and that any dialogue must take place under conditions of mutual respect. Relations between the two countries remain tense, especially after the US withdrew from the 2015 nuclear deal and imposed severe sanctions on Iran.

International analysts say Iran's stance signals continued resistance to Washington's approaches, making any prospect of a diplomatic revival in the short term uncertain.
