Hamas fires 10 missiles at Israel: civilians run for shelter in the middle of the night
Hamas fired 10 missiles from Gaza toward Israeli cities overnight. Sirens triggered the defense system, and civilians ran for cover. No injuries have been reported.

Tel Aviv – On Tuesday night, the Hamas terrorist organization launched 10 missiles from the Gaza Strip toward various cities and communities in southern Israel, generating panic among local residents.
Air raid sirens sounded in Ashkelon, Sderot, and other locations near the border, forcing entire families to rush to shelters in a matter of seconds. The Iron Dome defense system was immediately activated to intercept the projectiles.
Active Defense, No Casualties
According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), none of the missiles have caused casualties so far, although possible material damage is being assessed in some areas.
“Our systems worked as planned. No injuries have been reported, but we continue to monitor the situation,” a military spokesperson said.
Eyewitness accounts and renewed tension
Videos shared on social media show the moment the explosions lit up the sky and the sirens were heard. “My children were sleeping. I picked them up and ran to the shelter. We're used to it, but it never gets easier,” a mother from Netivot recounted.
The attack comes amid escalating tensions and could trigger a military response from Israel in the coming hours.
